This time of year I begin to feel like we're all going through nature-withdrawal. At least, the kind of nature that is relaxing, warm and summery. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to simply sit outside at night. But in the winter, that becomes just too uncomfortable and cold to truly enjoy.

Maybe it's time to help our kids remember starry nights too - especially considering my 4 year old is rarely up late enough to see them on her own! Plus, depending on the age of your child, you can find a constellation toy that includes lots of educational elements as well - so it's a win-win for everyone.
