Did you know that there are over 3,200 fairs held in North America each year? With that many, you can't be too far from one. And what a fun day trip! Livestock, corndogs, ferris wheels, fried Twinkies on a stick? Awesome. Hop below for a link to more fair information than you can shake a (fried Twinkie on a) stick at.

The International Association of Fairs and Expositions website is a must-click if you need info to plan a fun fair trip. You can plug your state into their Find a Fair page and get a listing complete with dates and direct web links. You should also check out the History of Fairs page. Did you know the first North American fair was held in Windsor, Nova Scotia in 1765 and is still in operation today? You can wow your kids with facts like these while they're eating their funnel cakes on a stick.
