In just 4 years of Phillip's life we have moved 4 times. And after the first move, I've switched from his baby boy nursery into a sailor/nautical bedroom and since then try to maintain the same look and feel.

I thought this could give my son the comfort in between the moved and changes. His room should be consistent, and like a boat that moves with the sailor around the world.

Style wise it's a blue/white/red stripey room with nautical details and a bit of red and blue gingham. We try to add to the room memories of visited beaches and places: shells, driftwood, stones, maps.
