Is there any color combination more cheerful than yellow and turquoise? Designer Dan Mazzarini of BHDM design drew from the building's art deco history, as well as from the spirit of Miami itself, to create the interiors at Lords South Beach, the new gay boutique hotel in the US.
Modern shapes, cheeky touches (like a papier-mache hunting trophy) and an allover palate of yellow, bright white, and turquoise, with touches of gold, add up to a style that's lighthearted, stylish, and totally stealable.

thanks for posting something from miami!! i go to this hotel all the time! awesome parties and music! :)
My eyes!
my boyfriend and I actually stayed here when we went to Miami. its actually pretty cheerful in person and not as garish as it might come across in pictures. It made for a fun stay.
Is it bad that it screams IKEA because of the color palette but yet the pieces are not IKEA? I think it cheapens an otherwise tastily done room.
Weird yet awesome
I love this - it's so bright and clean (and I don't think it looks Ikea-esque). I would love to spend some vacation time here.
Wow. That kind of yellow can easily become too much, but Dan Mazzarini got it just right. Beautiful. Relaxing and energizing at the same time, which, to me, is the sweet spot. The yellow and white rug, as well as the chevron pillow are fantastic.
more Miami post pretty please!!!
I LOVE this, it's over the top and fabulous, bright and cheery, maybe not for my own place but I'd LOVE to stay there!
