Dish rack love. We got a tiny bit of flack for singing the praises of an expensive dish rack by simplehuman, but we're sticking to our guns on this one. It's true that $70 is a lot to spend on a dish rack, and we probably would have scoffed ourselves if we hadn't experienced the transformative power of a really good dish dryer. Simplehuman's new Steel Frame Rack is equally expensive, but it looks just as cool...

Why would we spend so much on a dish rack? Because it's something we use every single day and we believe that the price is worth it for such a multi-functional item (ours is the Flip-Top Rack that converts to three different positions).

The design of the new Steel Frame Rack doesn't have a flip top, but it uses fingerprint-proof steel (important in an item that's guaranteed to get dirty) and the space-saving cupholders flip up or down. The drip tray funnels water perfectly into the sink (hard to find in cheaper versions) and the rack comes with a 5-year warranty.

I have the Simple Human shower caddy and it is *the best* shower organizer ever. It never slips off the neck of the shower head, it's totally adjustable to the height of various bottles, and because the suction cups are on radial arm, I don't have the problem of the suction cups not playing well with tile grout.

I have the system dish rack @$49.99 and it is great. I would pay another $20 for that cool new steel frame and bamboo knife holder...great design. Worth every penny for something you use and look at daily.

If you can, check out costco for simple human items cheaper - I got one of their smaller, but still wonderful models there last year, for around $30 vs. $50 at Target.
