If you've ever been lucky enough to work at an office where collaboration is a priority, you know how awesome group brainstorming can be. Some of the best ideas come from shooting the, bleep, in an open work environment. That's one of the reasons we dislike cubicles so much. They create a false sense of privacy, while crushing any kind of team spirit. We hope more offices take Campfire's queue -- and for those who work at home, there are some nice ideas here to bring home.Turnstone and Steelcase
recently debuted their Campfire collection
, which includes desks, benches, conference tables, and lounges that celebrate community, while providing the essentials you need to be productive.
The Big Table features a technology tray within the middle of the table that powers up your gadgets and built-in task lamps. It's available at regular desk height, along with counter height for those of you who like to work standing up.
The Paper Table comes with two top variations -- paper and glass. Both let you doodle notes during a brain hurricane, with the former allowing you to take the ideas with you. The latter, if used with dry erase markers, can be wiped clean after each sesh. The tabletop rotates 360 degrees so everyone gets a chance to sketch (or play hangman).
What do you think about their twist to office décor?
