Location: Midtown — Sacramento, California

We're Mid-Century Modern furniture dealers, and though we sell out of Past Perfect in the Marina in San Francisco, we live in a 1915 craftsman house in Midtown Sacramento that we rent. Our first love, design-wise, is 1960s Danish Modern, and it's been a challenge to find a way to make our modern furniture and design aesthetic work in a more traditional house.

In terms of style, we've tried to go for a look that's modern but not cold and museum-y, mixing mid-century, flea-market finds, and whatever else we've come across or made. (As much as we love the things we've put in our home, we also love that everything has a story behind it.) Given that we're antique dealers, pretty much everything in our house (except for some CB2 bookshelves) is original, and we've done most of the refinishing and upholstering ourselves.
