Name: Stephanie and her (adorable!) baby
Location: Charles Village — Baltimore, Maryland
My apartment has been a gradual work in progress over the four years I've lived here. It started out as a series of white boxes with a ragtag assortment of furniture from other places I've lived and a lot of mementos from far flung travels…
But I'm a grad student and single mom so decorating our apartment became a major stress reliever- particularly when I was pregnant and full of nesting hormones! Turning the apartment into a home that works for my son to run around and for me to work
I don't know that I have a particular style but I do love bright colors and patterns. I'm an avid Apartment Therapy reader and have been completely inspired by so many amazing solutions that the readers have dreamed up.
Thanks, Stephanie !

That green is spectacular. I love the green walls.
Full house tour please. What I see looks great!
AWESOME!! So great to see a somewhat local feature! (I'm in Ellicott City!)
I'm in Fells, and I'd love to see a whole house tour as well! Where did you get the dining room table?
Another local here (Hampden)... Really love the green walls (and the baby!) :)
Lived in Towson many years...and your place looks great. I especially like the bedroom and envy your organization skills in all areas!
B-more represent, woo! (Hampden here, hon.) Looks great, Stephanie!
I'm also in Maryland and love it--I've toyed with getting that same Blik decal for a long time, but have a pot rack in the only kitchen wall space and can't figure out another spot for it. Dining room? On the cabinet doors?
Thanks for the comments! And great to see some Baltimore love. FairGotham, the dining room table is actually Ikea. Mandarinmarie, I would avoid that particular Blik decal as it drove me NUTS to put it on the wall, the pieces are so thin and long they continually stick to each other.
Stephanie, I love it. I'm not from Baltimore, and I would really like to see a house tour. Your bedroom, especially, is amazing. I love how you took 3 independent pieces, and made it look like one spectacular piece. Fantastic! One piece of advice, speaking from experience, go to Home Depot and pick up some of the wire covers (for the dining room lanterns) that usually go around the floorboards, it will cover the walls and depending on the material you could actually make it look as though it is part of the architecture. You will be so happy that you did, and they are very inexpensive.

What a happy apartment! It makes me nostalgic for Charles Village. I'm putting in another vote for a full house tour.
Attending grad school as a single mother must be difficult but your home looks like a comfortable haven for you and your baby. I love your Moroccan rug!
You've done wonders with what must be an impossibly busy schedule!
I'm another Hampden resident (there seems to be a party of us here). Lovely space. The blue color, seen from a distance, appears to glow! Just lovely. I like you sense of clean, simple, yet inviting space. That's really hard to do on a budget of time and money. Kudos to you. Sweet little baby too!
I love the art in the baby's room! What a lovely home.
