It's not too often you see a home theater space which works both as a living space and a spot to kick back and enjoy a movie in style. But then again, the space above is Swedish, and the Scandinavians are famous for their seemingly innate ability to mix modernist elements with old world charm, as is the case with Stereonizer's nearly all-white space...
Old wood crates never really go out of style, but they're especially hot right now in home decor.
With such high ceilings and a relatively short distance between walls, Stereonizer installed his Optoma projector onto the wall rather than the ceiling for the biggest image possible on the opposite screen. We ran into this very same issue in a previous apartment, but ran our cables into an inside closet wall.
Stereonizer's setup includes:
- Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro
- Goldring GR1.2 Turntable
- Harmony Design DA9
- Kingpin Screens VPM235W
- Projector brackets
- Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse
- Mount media CS90E
- Microsoft Arc Keyboard
- Optoma HD67 projector
- Rauna of Sweden Leira
- Rega Brio R Stereo Amplifier
- REL T1 Subwoofer

Z2 iPod Dock and Wi...
Hmmm maybe its just me but I dislike all of the clunky speakers taking up room in the small apartment. Feels cluttered. This place is screaming for some built-ins.
This is a nice mix of classical and modern. The hifi equipment creates a contrast which communicates a cool and relaxed lifestyle. The main speakers appears to be of 80's origin and add a sophisticated, but still relaxed, approach (i.e they are not bought at the mainstream hifi store last weekend). The apartment, decoration and hifi look very Scandinavian, in a positive sense. Scandinavian as it's best.
