Steve Jobs' New House (Fairly) Modest and Modernist

What sort of architecture and home does the man whose company is most closely associated with good design look like? Well if you can read architectural plans and can imagine elevations of these floor plans as revealed by Gizmodo, you might get a sense of the house Steve Jobs will soon enough call home, if everything goes to plan.

According to these initial designs, Jobs intends to populate the 6 acres with an assortment of indigenous flora; a simple three-car garage; a modest 5 bedroom home with plenty of windows and decks; a network of lighted stone walkways; and even a private vegetable garden. Everything is neat, tight, pragmatic, and in its place.

At 4,910 square feet the home is anything but small, but considering his estimated $6.1 billion in wealth and comparatively to some of his tech brethren, the 5 bedroom home on 6 acres of property seems refreshingly sane.
