In our household, it is no secret that we are big Steve Martin fans. How could you watch The Jerk or Roxanne and not fall for him? When we heard that he had a new book coming out called "The Alphabet from A to Y With Bonus Letter Z!", we couldn't help but be excited.

Comprised of clever couplets (See, the alliteration is rubbing off!) such as, "Henrietta the hare wore a habit in heaven/Her hairdo hid hunchbacks: one hundred and seven" and "Quincy the kumquat queried the queen/Cleverly, quietly, without being seen." each letter receives special treatment by Martin, made even more special with the great illustrations by longtime New Yorker contributor, Roz Chast.

Released by Flying Dolphin Press, an imprint of Random House, ""The Alphabet from A to Y With Bonus Letter Z!" is certain to be a favorite among both children and adults.
