Name: Steven Burgert and Anthony Almaguer
Location: Streeterville, Chicago, Illinois
With most of our time dedicated to growing our design resource showroom (I.D. Chicago) in Lakeview we find little time to relax in our Streeterville Condo. We remodeled our one bedroom approximately three years ago to be a chic modern getaway from work…
Our goal was to create a modern but yet organic city dwelling. Mixing raw woods and textures with slick minimal furniture and accessories. I look at our environment as a painters canvas, never finished and always changing.
Thanks, Steven and Anthony!

Where did you get that chandelier painting from?
I LOVE the chandelier painting!! Looks amazing and I want it.
On the bandwagon here... I would love the source for the painting.
Chandelier painting.... gotta have it.
me too!! That chandelier painting is beautious!
me too--chandelier!
Not sure if that's a regular canvas or perhaps this lightbox: http://onestopmodern.com/duffy-lightbox-green-p-3617.html
May I just add that it's not worth $425. I purchased it and had to return it due to the lack of craftsmanship. It looked absolutely bitchin' and I agonized over my decision, but in the end I couldn't justify the cost.
This is not by her, but check out the artist Lorraine Peltz, she often uses the chandelier as a theme.
Search "grand chandelier on canvas" in google and you will see several sites that sell that print - both lighted and unlighted.
This is really cool-looking, but I don't see how this is supposed to be a 'getaway' from their designer showroom. The living room looks more like a storage area for a movie set (an elegant one, albeit).
there is sth similar to that canvas here:

I like the cabinet des curiosites feeling combined with luxurious modern furniture. i would love a full tour
It seems to me that a picture like the one above the bed is a great way to get the impression of a grand chandelier into a room that is too small and low to accomodate a real one. Clever!
I sorta want that black skull - anyone know where I can get it?
Love the chandelier painting as well. Beautiful pieces and vignettes in the living room but the angles from which the photos were taken are a little awkward so it's kind of hard to see how it all comes together.
what is the beautiful, dusty grey paint colour you use? Thanks!
Mji, try ID, the store that these guys own.
nice grey color on the walls
When in town don't wear brown....
Please visit: www.lorrainepeltz.com
for images of paintings which include the chandelier.
Why is it alway the gay guys who have these luxe fab pads?
Is this an apartment or restoration hardware? Lots and lots of great things, in fact too many. It's too cliche for me, but with an editing eye this could perfect.
Beautiful... it does look like a showroom though to me.
I sometimes wish I could live in such an uncluttered space but eventually my stuff (& personality) creeps in.
