An essential element in kids' rooms is their library. More than just housing books, book displays should beckon to young readers to come and explore. Tucked in between the endless number of Expedits and Ribba front-facing book displays (which we totally love and consider modern classics), a look through our archives uncovers rooms featuring bins, baskets, built-ins and even a vintage record stand to show off book collections. Here are some of the best we saw in 2012.
• Tessa Jean's Sassy & Bright Big Girl Room
• A Colorful Gender Neutral Nursery
• Rivers' Mix of Old, New & Handmade
• Cadence's Midnight Sky
• My Room: Maelle
• Cameron's Contemporary Room With Graphic Wallpaper
• Adella & Nolan's Light and Airy Playroom
• Matilda + Baby's Shared Room
• Søren's Sunny with a Chance of Smiles Nursery
• Baby Iggy's Groovy Sci-Fi Room

I am more focused on the weird kids' names. Doesn't anyone name their kid something normal anymore, or does every child have to be a special snowflake?
The names really aren't that weird...I was expecting to see a Pilot Inspektor or something up there
