Christmas Stocking Substitute: Slippers

Christmas Stocking Substitute: Slippers

Blueprint has a great roundup of alternatives to the traditional Christmas stocking. Their picks: wooden clogs, ivory stockings, fabric bags, and striped socks. We'd like to add one item to the list: slippers. They look great lined up by a fireplace, and who doesn't want a new pair for the holidays? Stuff them with treats and you're all set for a cozy Christmas morning. We like these Eco Mule Slippers from Gaiam ($48). They're made from organic cotton and hemp and (our favorite part) they're machine washable! Related Links:
