If you don't have kids (and maybe even if you do) you probably send catalogs dedicated to children's furniture and decor straight to the recycling bin. You certainly don't go out of your way to stop in at Pottery Barn Kids at the mall or seek out kids' decor sites on the Web. But there are some fun things to be found once in a while! Check out the latest from the big chain stores.

Oh yeah, I definitely check out kids sections for furniture and decor options. Definitely some fun stuff.
Sometimes I get ideas for grown up decor from Pottery Barn Kids and the Teen catalog. I wish they would market some of that same stuff for grown up furniture especially the storage sofas that they make.
ThinkGeek sells a They Might Be Giants inspired night-light called "Blue Canary In The Outlet by the Lightswitch" based off the song Birdhouse in your Soul.
Not exactly a kids magazine, but they've got so many great things for kids, adults and even the kids at heart.
I wish the nightlight could be attached to my fridge to help me stop my late night snack raids.
I'm a fan of the IKEA Spoka nightlights. They look fairly modern and have a whimsical feel to them. I don't sleep with them on, but they are wonderful if you need to get up in the middle of the night and don't want to turn on a bright light.
Completely in love with the gumball rug.
You can get that world map from Paper Source for all of $3-4 and put it in a frame. I don't know why places like Urban Outfitters sell it for $25, and $99 (framed albeit) from Land of Nod? They must be crazy !
I used a Hawaiian print quilt, and plaid quilts, along with white curtains, all from PB Kids, when I redid my beach cottage. The small scale and youthful appearance gave it the perfect relaxed vibe I was looking for.
