Style meets function. These fun storage bushels by Hable Construction have a steel frame, making them up to the challenge of holding heavy toys and games, but at the same time, their cloth covers make these a stylish storage tool, and convenient handles make these easy to lug from room to room.
Price is a drawback: each bushel is $275, although the marine stripe is on sale for $135. Less expensive but equally stylish are the fabric storage boxes in the same line - just $98 each, but lacking the steel frame of the bushels.

$275? ummmm...
seriously...$275 for a hamper....maybe a DIY inspiration???
We've tried all sorts of things for toy storage. But I've got to say you can't beat cubbies -- where everything is on display -- or those cheap sheer nylon cubes you can buy at the Container Store.
Opaque storage just doesn't work for kids -- whether it is a cool toy box, basket or bin. The toys lurking at the bottom might as well not exist. These are adult-friendly solutions for grown-ups who want to hide the toys, even if it means hiding the toys from the kids ;-)
I love these too. My boss has them in her house for her sons basketballs, footballs, gloves, etc. I just don't understand why they are that expensive.
They seem expensive because we're all so used to buying from TJ Maxx & Marshall's. This is what things cost that are made in the USA where people receive a living wage. Maybe if we all bought a little less crap and focused more on quality construction and workmanship we'd have a better economy and environment.
