We've talked before about using used cans for all sorts of projects, but one thing stands out from all those other previous options — the direction of the can. These old coffee cans received a coating of contact paper and make for inexpensive and super stylish storage!

Over at the Leethal Blog, Lee Meredith adapted an idea from something she had seen in a previous issue of ReadyMade (converting Pringles cans into desk organizers) and went all DIY on some remainder coffee cans.

After taking a trip to home depot for contact paper and supplies, she covered each can and attached them together and screwed them into place on the wall. Make sure to see further directions and tons of fabulous photos of the process here.

Other than yarn, what else could you use this store idea for? Pens? Pencils? Dog leashes? Scarves? Sandwiches? Ok, ok... we're kidding.... or are we?
