Here's an idea that so simple and pretty, we wish would have thought of it ourselves. These delightful tins, by [ekoh]designs are repurposed tins covered with paper and transformed into lovely bits of storage.
The Aviary Lovin' Tins, seen above, are hand stamped and coated with a non-toxic sealant so they are perfect for the kitchen or children's room. We love the fun aviary pattern and color palette.
The Flutter Tins are a quart and pint set and feature a butterfly and polka dot pattern.
Bluegrass Bug Tins come in complimentary blue, green and white paper patterns. Perfect for storing little treasures.

Those are adorable.
I repurpose old cans by sewing slipcovers for them. It's an idea I first saw on the blog Elsie Marley.
