Q: Ever since I saw Erin and Danny's now-infamous house tour, I've been drooling over the two cube trunks they use as a coffee table. When I saw that they were from Target, I thought: "Hey! I can maybe probably actually afford those when we move into our first apartment!" Well, now that day has come - I'm in my new apartment and ready to bring my cube trunks home. Problem is, I can't find them, or anything similar, anywhere.
Not on Target, Ebay, or any stretch of the internet (for less than $100 a pop). So my question is: Where can a girl source two reclaimed-wood-esque cube trunks without missing a month of rent?

Keep your eye on Overstock.com, they tend to have trunks like that from time to time for good prices. These aren't a perfect match, but inspiring enough to keep checking back for new styles.

Infamous? What made their house tour infamous?
i think those were in one of target's annual global bazaars, which they discontinued when the recession started.
Home Decorators has a few different ones to choose from. Not too expensive, but probably not Target prices.

I thought they were from Crate and Barrel a few years ago, someone I knew had those identical ones. They have a lot of different trunky items yearly, also keep an eye on them, but they are always a bit pricey.

I have a couple of mangowood storage/end table trunks from Target, but they are taller and nowhere as good looking as the trunks pictured.
Overstock is a good bet.
