Store Your Stuff in Style: 10 Vintage Options

We attended the Chicago Antique Market a few weekends ago and as we snapped photos of anything that caught our eye, a pattern emerged - there were lots of varied shapes and sizes of storage containers available...

...any of which would provide an out-of-the-ordinary way to stash some stuff.

any other resources for this kind of thing?

Had to laugh at the film canisters listed as "old" - I work in a theatre that shows films and those cans look identical to what our films show up in every week..! :)

I can vouch for their durability and the fact that you can stash A LOT of stuff in them, however.

I just hit up an antique fair in the Bay Area this weekend. It was amazing. So many good finds...so many in fact that I posted 3 different blog entries about it. I can't wait to go back:

Note that the price tags on those LV cases are turned demurely away from view so as not to cause strokes or seizures.

I never had any idea how many creepy dolls antique fairs bring out...I wonder if it was the same thing in Chicago.

Vintage Louis Vuitton trunks are available from French Country Furniture. They make great tables and storage. They allso have some low cost vintage leather trunks.
