Story Starters

Story Starters

Here's a classic but great activity for the kids, and according to Megan over at Penny Carnival it might actually buy you a few minutes to get something done around the house.

It's pretty simple: You write down or print out a bunch of "story starters," brief descriptions that will get your kids acting out the rest of the story. You can download Megan's here or of course write your own. (Megan's do seem like great starting points though!)

It's such a nice old-fashioned-feeling activity for slightly older children and the materials are completely free: their imaginations. Presentation is always important and we love the way Megan put hers in tiny envelopes with numbers. Find her complete post here.
