These story stones are the kind of toy that we would enjoy as much as our kids, and we can imagine them staying in family circulation for generations to come.
Emily Neuburger sells her story stones at her etsy shop, red bird crafts, and she shares her latest projects on a blog by the same name. She has generously detailed her story stone making process here. We want lots of story stones for play time and think that larger scale story stones would be a beautiful design element in a child's room.

love times a million! my preschool daughter would love this!
they look cute and dangerous at the same time :)
My cousin relocated thousands of miles from family. All was well for a long time. Then she flew in for an impromptu visit. Within a few days the truth came out.Things had gone sideways for her.She was homesick.
We all felt career wise she was where she should be.So,we all got together and painted rocks picked up from numerous places in our hometown.Everyone personalized them with paint.
She went back to her new home with a suitcase full of her hometown. We are always with her.She still has all the stones we sent her back with.
I like this idea.
They are lovely!
