Pop Pop, an experimental walk signal, just wants everyone to be safe. Designed by NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, the semi-sentient signal is likened to a kindly old grandfather. He has six feelings that range from happy to angry, and are generated based on a live feed of the intersection, and real time data like news and weather.
