Stretch

This week we're on a needlecraft kick so we were thrilled to find the work of Debra Folz who is currently pursuing her MFA at RISD. Her pieces are made from industrial materials that are softened by the use of textiles and traditional stitching techniques.

The X Stitch Stool, available at Voos for $1,900, took an impressive 40 hours of hand embroidering to create and the Stretch Shelves feature knitted cotton artfully stretched over shelves to form a unique piece of wall art.
