092911-chevron2.jpg Mandi is at it again! We recently checked in with her when she redid this bedroom and created a new light fixture and fixed up a chair with busted caning. In the past she's even made her own rug, so needless to say, she has an eye for a great diy project. Her latest is an example of more is more and she has shared some great tips for creating the perfect chevron stripe without all the headache.

Mandi makes her home over at Vintage Revivals and is a whiz at painting, repurposing and anything that will hold still long enough to be spray painted. She recently took this bland hallway to something out of sight with a bit of painter's tape and some imagination.

Although some might be scared of something that big and bold, it becomes its own art piece and steals the show. Who knew a hallway could do such a thing? Make sure to hop over to Vintage Revivals and check out Mandi's flawless tutorial for creating your own chevron stripes without worrying you'll screw them up (or am I the only one who panics in that situation?).
