Look familiar? The Student Desk at Overstock.com looks suspiciously like the West Elm Parson's desk, at half the price. And unless you've been living under a rock (and no offense if you are, sounds quite nice actually), you'll know that the clean-lined Parson's has fast become a design staple (See: Top 5: Cheap Furniture Basics).
Classic white is not in stock, but green, black, blue and red are. And we have no clue why Overstock.com has chosen to call their knock-off a "student" desk; the dimensions are more or less the same as West Elm's version, within a fraction of an inch.

AT, I loved you before, but now I want to commit. Thank you for finding this. I was going to try to do an Ikea hack to make a less expensive (than West Elm) Parsons desk, but you have saved me a lot of work.
i wish it came in white at overstock...
I've had my eye on this for a while, but it's white that I'm looking for, and every time OverStock gets it in, it's only in stock for like a day before it's sold out again.
It does come in white -- I just snagged one last month. It's a nice, sturdy little piece.
A few of us have commented on these desks from Overstock before in other open threads here -- I've got one in white too and love love love it.
I have it in white from overstock too. It's not nearly as glossy as the one from West Elm so I haven't put it together yet - it's still in the box. Maybe this post will make me love it and keep it.
