Found on Swedish real estate site Alvhem, this spare room has lots of good ideas for setting up your own gallery-style workspace at home...
The room has the feel of a photographer's studio, with a great mixture of formal and informal art displays. A chair, table, and floor lamp in the corner keep it from feeling too much like a working gallery, while green plants add just a little bit of color.
Details We Love:
• the photographer's lamp
• other adjustable floor and table lamps to spotlight artwork
• picture ledges for large-format artwork
• wires with clips for smaller papers
• a cylindrical bin for storing tubes of rolled prints
• white walls and floors
• the reading nook by the window

White Enamel Four-P...

Ahhh.... is there anyone as tasty and serene as an all-white room?
Say what you will about all those "magical" color cacophonies from the recent Apartment Therapy color contest-- to me THIS is the sort of environment that invites real creativity. A place where you can collect your thoughts and compose from scratch, without visual baggage.
...meant is there "anyTHING" as tasty...
Is there anyone as tasty?
These pictures reminds me of my old apartement on Prinsgatan just around the corner from Alvhem. It looked exactly the same except the floors where blood red.
Don't miss their partener Atmosphere's site:

wahoo!
shirley-temple-of-doom , what a fabulous Freudian slip :)
I'm just thankful that the photo doesn't include the hunky Swedish occupant, considering my gaffe.
I Love it!!! it looks very nice and clean.
I featured Alvhem back in June, there is a gorgeous apartment that was for sale on their site that was absolutely breathtaking -- and a beautiful example of how well a small city apartment can be decorated and organized in a very BIG way...
