Style It: Hanging a Collection

Although we’re all for a clutter-free home, we do think that a minor collecting habit never hurt anyone. In fact, collections can add warmth and character when they’re used, loved, and displayed. In the photos above, a few different people have put their personal stamp on their walls by organizing and hanging their collections in quirky, personal ways. One creative home features a casual collage of photographs, another a more formal display of mirrors in a hall. Neatniks and lovers of order tend to gravitate toward the grid to display objects, while looser personalities might favor a random pin-up approach.
