The "skyboxification of American life" means haves and the have-nots are living farther apart. According to data from a recent Washington Post interactive map, the middle class is getting more segregated, creating clusters of "Super ZIPs," where median household incomes are over $120,000. The largest continuous Super ZIP cluster is the DC metro area, covering over 700 square miles.
