Whether a room is eclectic or adheres to a specific style, a great way to pull it together is through repetition of shape or pattern. Can you guess the shape that helps to connect the mix of high/low finds together in this collaged room? It's an easy one — the IKEA rug gives it away. If you guessed a triangle or cone shape, you're right! The lamp, rug, artwork, and end tables all contain this shape.

those are some weird looking chairs.. they look really uncomfortable and like you'd have a hard time actually getting out of them.
Awhile ago, there was a post about a free program you could use to make these collages (not Photoshop), anyone remember what it was??
Kudos to the Collage. I like to see how people think about pulling everything together.
@sturgeongeneral Maybe you're thinking of MyDeco?
gochrisgo, I think that's it! Thanks :)
Polyvore is also great for piecing together rooms from products online.
This is incredible........I've always mixed vintage furniture with new textiles including many from IKEA. The affordability allows you to change fabrics from season to season without killing your budget. What a terrific idea.
