We've seen a lot of furniture made from salvaged materials and while we're nowhere near tired of it, London-based Rupert Blanchard's handmade pieces certainly stand out from the crowd.
His work is thoughtful and charming — we adore his chest of old drawers, each with a story behind it and his Louis Ghost Chair made out of recycled wood that was auctioned for charity. Visit Rupert Blanchard's blog, Styling and Salvage, to see more of his furniture and interiors made from reclaimed objects as well as his inspiring vintage finds.

They're all so nice, but the ghost chair is by far my favorite.
