Do people still use calendars in the digital age? I haven't used one in... I forget how long it has been.
I have a small circle of ladie friends that use a crown as our logo. (Silly little reason) Anywho..one Christmas one of them gave us all a pocket calendar with a crown on it and she's been doing it every since. I look forward to that calendar each year because of what it means . Plus, I find it much faster and easier to use a paper calendar.
They're great. I love the Kraft Kate – though it is a bit pricey. On a smaller scale, I buy bunches of these http://www.etsy.com/shop/JoBradney?section_id=7412032 as Christmas presents. People really love them.
I keep a paper calendar for figuring out dates in the future, usually in my kitchen =) i find it faster to look up a weekend in august that way than on my phone!
Cool calendars! And I hope everyone knows, the Mayan elders do not say, nor did they ever, that the end of their calendar meant the end of the world. It's more of an energetic shift thing. Not a joke, either.
We still use a good old fashioned paper calendar in the kitchen for writing down parties and appointments in a place where we can both see it. Unfortunately none of these calendars would allow us to write anything on a specific date.
