Not all coffee makers are alike, and let's be honest, we all need our caffeine fix, one way or the other. We've been using an espresso machine that works pretty well, but how about when you need something more compact?
These new Digrato coffee makers come in 5 different colors, perfect to match the design of the space they are going to be put into. It looks modern and it's quite compact, making it easy to store and use. We think that it looks minimal and elegant, plus it's supposed to make pretty good espresso. It operates at 20 bar pressure. The coffee machine allows you to manually stop the water flow, allowing you to customize the strength of your espresso. It uses capsules and a total of 8 different kinds are available for this machine.
It's available for about $150. A bag of 15 capsules costs $5.50. If you tend to make Starbucks stops, you'll be pleased to know that this purchase will save you money in the long run. By our calculations, if you spend something like $5 a day on coffee, you'll start saving significant amounts of money after a month and a half.

I will NEVER buy one of these machines again.
After my wife and I got married, we got a "coffee"/espresso machine that boasts that it makes "crema coffee" which they also make some absurd claim that is getting wildly popular in Europe. First flag went up there.
After returning it because the item was absolute garbage, we experimented with one of these pod machines. The coffee was so-so, and we drink at least a cup a day. So in doing the math, we would have nearly TRIPLED the cost we were spending on coffee, even buying $13/bag beans from our local shops.
So we got a good old Mr. Coffee that for a drip machine, has made better coffee than any drip machine I've had previously.
We use an espresso machine that actually grinds the coffee beans itself, so it's better than this one since it doesn't use any pods, and it works great. Heck, I'll have triple espressos and they taste amazing. These pod-based coffee makers are becoming quite popular, I've used them on and off and they work OK. The best coffee machine in my opinion is still a French press...
Nothing beats the Nespresso machines! they are stylish and make excellent coffee!!!

I've heard people rave about the Nespresso too. I gotta ask though. Who spends $5 a day on coffee??

The Nespresso coffee is pricey but its not $5 per coffee! A pack of 10 capsules costs about $5.50 so that is fifty-six cents per coffee. Yes it is much more than french press coffee but a lot less than Starbucks and much better.
The best part is it only takes the press of a button - as I am not a morning person that is a big plus for me.
I got this machine, but from... Zepter. http://www.zespressocafe.eu/shop/
In Poland cofe costs about $19/30capsules ($0.64/1capsule). Coffe is very good and tasty, but I'm looking for a little bit cheaper coffe capsules for this machine.
Where I can buy capsules from Digrato? On elcorteingles.es I can see only set but not coffe separately.

I was referring to the comment 'By our calculations, if you spend something like $5 a day on coffee, you'll start saving significant amounts of money after a month and a half. ' I'm just wondering why on earth you would spend that much on coffee per day...
