In our quest to find great looking iPod docks, we are always confronted at how some of them just look awful while other ones look really good. It's hard to make a choice when there are so many on the market. Luckily, there are always a few great ones making their way into stores.

The stylish looking Kami Sound dock was created by industrial designer Alvaro Uribe, who lives in Brooklyn and has a great portfolio filled with interesting designs. His Kami Sound Dock is very minimal and uses geometric shapes. He says that his color scheme was inspired by the Italian designer Ettore Sottsass, whose most notable design was the Valentine portable typewriter for Olivetti. The myriad of Pantone colors definitely make this dock stand out from all of the rest, since they tend to be monochrome and geeky looking. This makes this dock perfect for the bedside table in your bedroom.

We really like this dock. It's cool that it can either hang from a wall or rest upon a tabletop. This makes it perfect for a number of uses. The colors featured on it will also work in a number of different rooms. We could easily see this mounted in an office or a living room area to play some tunes. There is no information yet on a release date or the price.
