Currently when we Skype we either use our computer's speakers and mic or plug in our Hulger handset. While the former is limiting in terms of clarity, the latter can be a pain due it its long and tangle prone USB cable and the unusually stiff curly cord that connects the base to the handset. We've been on the look out for an alternative that doesn't simply look like your average landline phone, and we think we might have found it with the new Moshi Moshi mm03 Bluetooth handset.
Native Union designed four exquisite handsets for either computer or iPhone use. The collection, named Moshi Moshi, includes four models. The mm01 and mm02 connect to either via 3.5mm, while the mm03 and mm04i add Bluetooth. The 04i is the luxe model of the bunch, doubling up as a Bluetooth speaker and speaker phone! Prices start at $60 for the mm01 and go up to $200 for the mmo4. They go on sale April 15th so you can call your accountant in style.
We think the mm04i would be wicked in the kitchen, where you want to rock out while chopping onions and still be able to grab a Skype call without sprinting through the house with a knife in hand.
