Sub-Ground Level Office in the Woods

We are beyond enchanted with the design studio of Selgascano, an architecture firm in Madrid. An eight-person office, the incredibly energy efficient tubular studio is positioned four feet below ground level in the middle of the woods.

Our favorite elements of this inventive space: the amount of natural light that floods the space; the long cantilevered white desks; and the use of the green and yellow paint to demarcate the specific section of the office that mirrors the lines of the expansive window. Oh and how could we forget the scenery? We could get some serious work done in this office. (Our only gripe would be sitting directly across from a co-worker at the computer stations!)

For more photos and information, check out Dezeen where we spotted this studio.
