If you have a hard time reconciling time as a youth spent as a metal head with your love for quilts and anything granny chic, you might better understand the world of Boo Davis. An author of a guide to quilt making as well as a maker of heavy metal inspired quilts, she's managed to make a business out of these seemingly discordant worlds.
Quiltsrÿche by Boo Davis is what she considers her "evil quilt studio" where rock tees meet skulls meet an endless array of squares and rectangles. Each of these "rÿcheous" quilts are unique and can be made to order or even custom designed with your favorite concert tees or even silkscreening.
To see more of Boo's designs, visit Quiltsrÿche by Boo Davis. Boo has also written a book for anyone ready to start quilting but scared of complicated seams and shapes called Dare to Be Square Quilting: A Block-by-Block Guide to Making Patchwork and Quilts.

Just because something can be done...
SO cute! To each her own, @engineergirl, I love the skulls and metal culture look. :)
Hmm... wonder where she got her name from? She's from Seattle and she listens to metal... Queensryche anyone?
Sigh... this might just be the thing to get me to try quilting. Metal is not my thing, but skulls certainly are.
I love it when an art form crosses the boundaries and evolves into something different...IMO, true artists never criticize..they just observe and learn.
Boo has a wonderful creative spirit.
I am by no means a metalhead, but these are fantastic. Lots of things are coming to mind along this line. Too bad sewing machines make me break out into a cold sweat.
These are reaaally cool.
Rock on Boo!!!
I LOVE these! Makes me want to Dare to be Square. Boo, you're my quilting guitar hero.
