Q: I am having a terrible time finding a moroccan inspired fabric for two chairs I want to recover in a somewhat bright/interesting fabric, ideally with an orange color or accent. I found some fabrics/items that are close to the pattern I'm looking for, but just can't find the right fabric. Would LOVE suggestions from you or your readers.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I have the same design on pillows in my moroccan inspired living room. The pillows are a rusty orange with the design in gold. I found them at Burlington Coat Factory for about 15.00. Look around at some of the less expensive stores and you may be able to find something. Jo-Ann Fabrics has a lot of North African type fabrics as well.
There are some on the Lewis & Sheron Textile Co. website. I did not find one exactly like the pillow above however there are some interesting options that may work for you.

There's a great fabric warehouse in Watertown- Freddy Farkels Fabric Showplace. 86 Coolidge Ave Watertown. They have tons of fabrics in stock, many with no minimum or only 2 yard minimum. If you are covering a chair, they have lots of true upholstery fabrics, all the trims you'd need & if you don't want to DIY, they also offer re-upholstery services.
I went there yesterday & today & got some great fabrics for a pillow & window treatment. I promise I don't work there, I am just a very happy customer! And they do have lots of options for Moroccan inspired motifs & lots of colorways. Good luck & happy shopping!
Have you tried Calico Corners.

I find that just searching online for either "trellis" or "lattice" fabrics will get you most of the way to what you want.

Try kimono silk. Even though it's from a different culture, you can often find that kind of repeating graphic motif. I've bought similar fabrics on eBay.
Try designerfabrics.ca, they have tons of options and lend out fabric swatches as well. Etsy is also a great resource for fabric.
Joann.com has similiar print by Waverly called chippendale and it comes in a bunch of colors. If you sign up for their mobile site on your smartphone you can get 40% off coupon too!!!
You may also want to look for "fretwork" fabric online.
Thanks, everyone! There are some great suggestions here. I had looked at the Waverly Chippendale, as well as the Waverly Lovely Lattice - but I am really looking for an orange and haven't found that color. I also looked at the Calico Corners ikat fabric (http://www.calicocorners.com/product/designer+fabrics+for+the+home/more+fabric+collections/ikat/kalah+spice.do) and something like this, (http://beautifulfabric.com/asccustompages/products.asp?fav=0&fpage=1&page=1&categoryID=54&productID=6061&cartID=104839150) but I can't find that large clean pattern in orange like in the pillow.
Any other suggestions?
Funny, I have a moroccan and orange obsession as well...I've been eyeing this fabric that i've seen in a local store here in SF...it's pretty pricey though for my budget...it's by madeline weinrib...

good luck...
If you live near a Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams store check out their fabric; specifically Tierra-Tangerine.
Don't live near one? Call the Ann Arbor store and they will send you a swatch - for free!
Make it at www.spoonflower.com
according to their website: "Spoonflower makes it possible for individuals to design, print and sell their own fabric designs"
Another idea would be to contact the pillow manufacturer and ask about buying yards of the fabric used on your pillow.
I've been looking for fabric exactly like that, and died when I saw the pillow you posted. I contacted the manufacturer (http://www.dlrhein.com/dlrhein-designs/) and they said they designed the fabric and had it made for the pillows, and that it's not possible to buy the fabric.
It's been a while since your post, and maybe you already saw this, but what about this fabric? http://www.calicocorners.com/product/designer+fabrics+for+the+home/

The design isn't as delicate as the pillow, but the pattern and colors seem close.
I was originally looking for this pattern for curtains, and gave up and went with something else, and am now seriously considering that Bocce fabric for a futon cover.
