One of my favorite parts of summer with my kids is indulging in old timey Americana-style games, like hopscotch or croquet. Never before have we been able to play skee ball at home, though; it always required a trip to the arcade. Until now!
Instructables user Seamster put together this Skee Ball game using golf balls and an incredibly genius design that requires no electronics (old skool!). As Seamster explains,
It uses golf balls and has no electronics whatsoever (by design). It has an automatic ball return system which places the balls in separate lanes to indicate each ball's score, which is visible through a plexiglass window at the bottom of the ramp. A ball-drop lever is pulled to release the balls back into a storage compartment at the front of the game.
Although I'm not so handy with building large structures, I'm seriously considering building one of these. Now, who's with me?
