Vacation rentals are my favorite way to travel. Not only do you get to play house in a new city, but most are tucked away from the tourist zones so that you get to experience your new surroundings like a local. My husband and I are traveling to Buenos Aires this summer and were thrilled with the rental we found. That is until I saw this stunner!
Located on the southwest coast of Ibiza, this villa is infused with Moorish style along with contemporary furnishings. It also boasts three bedrooms, intimate patios, an outdoor heated jacuzzi, an outdoor bathroom and a large pool. Of course, the cost to stay for one night is probably more than my rent, but a girl can dream.

Wow. That is much nicer than any of the accommodations I've had in Ibiza. Very inspirational.
The only thing missing from the scene is the view out the window, depending on the location on the island, could be a spectacular contrast. I've never seen a sea so blue and green.
the style files: i get onto that site to dream
nice digs, but ibiza was perhaps the biggest destination disappointment of my life. (yachts dumping sewage just off the beach, an overcrowded harbor, infrequent and overcrowded bus transportation, too many italian and british youth constantly talking on cell phones when not comatose on club drugs). only my hotel in the old port and the seafood (which i worried about after the yacht sewage) and locals were as i hoped.
if i had to do it again i'd go in june or september. better yet skip it entirely for mallorca, corsica, or barcelona and the costa brava.
