I'm not much of a drinker, but warm weather makes me crave cocktails. The start of summer has me readjusting my own buffet-top bar and eyeing others' — oh, and mixing gin and tonics.
You can fit a bar into many different spots, depending on your space restrictions and entertaining habits. Beautiful bar carts can store bottles and glasses and work as great focal points. A dining room buffet will provide a substantial space and a host-friendly spot for your liquor supply (Images 2 and 8). If space is tight, a nook (Image 10) or side table can perform the job (Image 7). In any spot, a tray instantly unifies a set of bottles (Images 4 and 5).

Number 9 is bad-ass.
A tad off topic, but my favorite summer cocktail is 3 Olives Grape, soda water, a splash of cran and a lime...in a pint glass. My friends and I call it the "Big Girl" :)
My summer drink is a mojito, so that means sugar & lime & mint. I'm a slob (moreso as the night wears on!), so that means a sticky mess - anywhere other than the kitchen counter makes it worse.
@blue mamie. hope you have a light sense of humor :)
its funny... i cringed when i saw 9. so i thought your post was hilarious because i would say its bad and ass. lol. different strokes is what makes this site great.
What are/is "3 Olives Grape"?
A vodka. They make all sorts of insane and obnoxious flavors. Like bubble gum and cake.
