Living in a rowhome in Philadelphia I don't have the luxury of ample outdoor living space. I've got a tiny cement block enclosed porch that is just big enough to house two chairs and a grill. I'm moving in a few months and seriously longing for an outdoor lounge space. The commonality of these three outdoor lounge spaces is that you don't need a ton of room to achieve these looks. Even if I weren't moving; with a little creativity and imagination — I could create a similar look in my cement block. I could purchase a corner sectional or even just a love seat and chair to put in the corner and probably squeeze in the grill too!
Of course, with more space comes more opportunity to really create a perfect outdoor "room". If you have a grassy backyard; throw down some tufted cushions on the ground, hang string lights and bring the popcorn outside to share some quality time with the ones you love.
If you're looking for some privacy and a living room-like feel on your porch, hang some outdoor curtains and get some fabulous weather friendly furniture.
