I'd rather have an Airstream.
It's funny how this still pops up as if it's new. Jay hasn't lived in that house since he got married and had a kid and that's been at least a couple of years, I think.
The tiny house movement is something I've had an interest in since I first read Lester Walker's "Tiny Tiny Houses" back in '92. Jay's done a great job of getting tiny houses out in the public eye.
If I built one I would skip the fireplace and have a full blown desktop connected to a 1080p TV. Desktop components would heat 100sq ft pretty well. I know. My office is tiny.
Also, tiny houses like that work for people who have a hobby building tiny houses. If you do anything else you are going to need more room. I'm not saying it's true for all hobbies, but most.
Wow. I was claustrophobic just watching this. I hope he doesn't gain weight. That is the "mini-est" fireplace I've ever seen!
