We have a bit of an addiction to chartreuse - some might call it a problem. We've been trying to keep it in check lately, but when we saw this chair, we couldn't help but think how something wrong could feel so right.
If we had a plain, square wood dining table we'd mix a few of these chairs in with this Ikea model to complete the set. And this is our second cartoon reference recently, but don't they remind you of these guys?

It's amazing to see how chartreuse is becoming a fad- I saw a chartreuse Toyota Camry at a parking lot recently, and knew that the color will come around one way or another.
The colour is almost weird enough to distract you from the strangest thing about the chair: the hole.
Positively victorian.
Sorta has that look like it's about to start walking away from you...
Hehe, the hole...
At least it can be used outside...
looks like an odd cross between an air-chair, a jacobsen chair and a slice of swiss cheese... all of which i'd probably reach for before this one :(
New Fad? Chartreuse is my Favorite Fiesta color from the 50s. Unfortunately, today most people don't know what the color looks like. It is a grayed, yellowish-green, not a garishly bright slightly greenish-yellow.
