Some of us love to collect the biggest, baddest tech out there. Collect them and pile them up on a pedestal, displaying our excellent taste in diverse tech and knowledge. On the other hand, you might be on the other side, continuously (and at times - perhaps even religiously) searching for the best products that take up the least amount of space in your home. In that sense, you're a tech minimalist. Some may confuse that with OCD, but we prefer to call it by this prettier name...
Ah, yes. Minimal tech. How we love it so... We've went ahead and rounded up some old coverage of minimal tech below for your enjoyment. Cheers!

Oh, and for the curious, that's the Midway Coffee Table in the main picture above. The TV isn't really to scale either, so we suggest avoiding placing a huge 46" TV on it as it'll most likely be unable to support it.

Not sure how these are incompatible. I have lots of 'tech' but I do my best to keep a minimalist appearance and not have it dominate my home.
I'd argue that Unplugged's target demographic has put to rest the stereo rack and TV from the late seventies and early eighties that dominated the living space.
Great tech blends in. Even when there is a lot of it (as evidenced by your sweet simplicity link above).
