Yesterday, General Motors announced it will close four plants that build fuel-guzzling SUVS, citing "long-term changes in consumer preferences." GM may even sell off the Hummer brand. That means that high gas prices really have changed the way people are buying... at least when it comes to personal transportation.
If things have shifted so quickly for GM, we're wondering how they've changed life at home.

(Steph and I are doing our part by cutting back from our usual ride, a Hummer limo, to a regular Hummer for our daily carpool.)
