I do not have one in my apt but GOD I'd love to have the one in that picture. That is one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen!!
our apartment came with one, didn't really need it but it looks fancy. the only problem with it is since it occupies a corner of a room with only 3 walls, and the other corner has the door, and one wall has a window, it makes arranging thing a problem, i seriously spend over an hour tonight trying to figure out how to make it work with a christmas tree...
the only thing i truly dislike about it being gas is the color, it's really blue. which i guess says a good thing that's it's really clean and has a really clean flame, but it doesn't look like a fire as much. just the tops of a few are orange.
Does anyone know of things or have suggestions of how to make it more orange? Didn't know if there were things to put in it or a method. I would probably use it more if it looked more like a fire.
Thanks
We have a gas fireplace, but we had the gas disconnected. It looks more like a Bunsen burner and would cost a fortune to upgrade. Also don't think it would make us any warmer.
I actually have three, but they haven't been functional since heat was first installed in my house - long before I was born or owned it!
