Over the holidays we caught up on some back episodes of Gossip Girl (yes, we know...). In one episode, Serena, complaining about her mom and step father's new house rules, exclaims, "What's next? No TV until after you finish your homework?" to which her brother replies, "Who watches TV on a TV anymore anyway?". Touché my friend, touché.
Sure we were watching GG on our Samsung boobtube, but only because we wanted a larger screen than what our laptop has to offer. We had downloaded this episode and plugged our Macbook into our TV's S-video port, which is one reason we don't have cable. Why pay $80/month for a bunch of channels we don't need when we could download the shows we actually watch for practically nothing (or in some cases, nothing).
So we wondered, how many of you are still watching "TV"?
If you are bound to the web we want to know how exactly you're watching that content? Are you glued to your monitor or do you have a nifty way of streaming your primetime to your flat screen? We're sure our S-video solution is oh so last year. How should we be getting our Gossip Girl fix?
