One of our friends works for a major manufacturer of privacy filters for computer screens, so, of course, many of the employees use them. This led to our discussing whether or not we use them, and if not, do we want one?
We don't use one and don't want one, especially because they seem to make the screen harder to view due to darkening, even with adjusted brightness. But privacy can be a good thing, especially if you don't want your boss sneaking up on you and catching you in the act of, say, browsing AT:Home Tech!
