Wind and solar
money is no object? i'd buy my community enough hydrogen fueling stations and cars to get around. and i'd get myself an organic farm/ranch and get back to basics. ah, what a dream!
I'd fund research. If we can send people up to the moon, we can figure out how to reverse global warming, make cars which improve the environment, and houses that breathe and grow. The sky's the limit...
If money were no limit, I'd like solar panels, yeah, but also solar water heating, a heat sink, house fan, grey water system, and rain barrels. And then I'd buy up some of the empty lots around town and convert them into community gardens.
i'd put in a huge garden that would supply all my fruit and veggies needs, as well as a chicken coop...and maybe some goats for milk and cheese.
A geothermal heat pump system for our 100 year old six unit condo building.
an army of hamsters with hamster wheels that generate power. Or ,more seriously, solar and this Mini: http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/08/the_hybrid_mini.php
Socially responsible investments, ie. Domini. Hmm, I should start now.
Already have new windows, doors, Energy Star appliances and passive solar. I'd like geothermal heat pump, radiant floor heat and wind turbine. If money was no option . . . I'd want it all!
